A weighted air hose remains submerged thanks to its weight and connects the air pump to the pond diffusers. This collection offers sinking hoses, as well as a weighted diffuser: be sure to distinguish between the connecting hose and the micro-perforated diffuser hose, which releases air into the water.
Which diameter and length should you choose?
Check the inner and outer diameters indicated on the product sheet, as well as their compatibility with the pump outlet and the diffuser connector. Measure the entire path to the point of submersion. A hose that is too narrow, too long, or kinked can reduce the available flow: choose its dimensions according to the installation and the manufacturer's recommendations.
Preparing the connections
Consult the pond air pumps, diffusers and air stones, and valves and splitters. Before ordering a product sold by the meter, check the unit of sale and the length corresponding to the quantity chosen.
