The flexible hose connects the pump to the filter, the waterfall, or the water return. A spiral-reinforced hose does not collapse in curves and resists the negative pressure created by the pump, which maintains flow rate.
The collection offers flexible spiral PVC pond hoses in 25, 32, and 38 mm, sold by the meter, as well as stainless steel hose clamps with wing nuts for attaching the hose to the fittings.
- The diameter must match the pump outlet and the filter inlet
- A larger diameter limits flow rate losses over long distances
- Calculate the actual length of the path, including a margin for curves
