This collection brings together solutions for controlling algae in ponds and garden ponds: biological treatments, bacteria, minerals, dyes, and filter snails. They help control algae by targeting their causes, nutrients, and organic matter.
How to choose your solution?
- The type of algae: filamentous algae (AlgiBio, Green Control) or suspended green water.
- The cause: excess sludge and organic matter (Bactovase, Biobooster+), or water that is too soft (GH+ and KH+ minerals).
- The volume or surface area: dosages are stated in m³ or m².
- The type of body of water: Blue Lake dyes are suitable for natural ponds.
- Living supplements: Aquifarm filter snails and pond snails.
Aquiflor's advice
Plants compete directly with algae: aim to cover about one-third of the surface with vegetation and limit excess feeding. To develop a plan tailored to your pond, our team is available at 010 86 03 54 and at the Nodebais store.
