The skimmer, also known as a surface skimmer, removes leaves, debris and foam before they sink to the bottom of the pond. This collection includes floating, pedestal, shoreline and gravity skimmers, as well as spare parts.
How to choose your skimmer?
- Pond surface area: SwimSkim 25 and 50 for medium-sized ponds, Oase Skimmer 250 for large ponds.
- Depth: the ProfiSkim 100 is suitable for shallow ponds, while the AquaSkim 40 sits on a pedestal.
- Installation type: BioSys Skimmer + shoreline skimmer, AquaSkim Gravity for gravity filtration, and Aquaforte floating skimmers from 160 to 300 mm with a 110 mm connection.
- Connection to your pump or filter, and access for emptying the basket.
Aquiflor's advice
Empty the basket regularly, especially in autumn: a full basket reduces suction. Replacement filter baskets and grates are available in this collection. For repairs to an Oase skimmer, our official Oase and Secoh repair workshop is located in Nodebais; to choose a model, call 010 86 03 54.
