Skimmers for ponds and pools: floating, pedestal, wall, shoreline and gravity models from Oase and Aquaforte. They remove leaves and debris from the surface before they sink, reducing the strain on the filter.
How to choose your skimmer?
- Surface area: SwimSkim 25 and AquaSkim 20 for small areas, AquaSkim 40 for medium areas, Skimmer 250 for large areas.
- Shallow water: ProfiSkim 100.
- Installation: ProfiSkim Wall 100 wall skimmer with extension for wide walls, BioSys Skimmer+ shoreline skimmer, AquaSkim Gravity gravity skimmer.
- Connection: Aquaforte floating skimmers of 160, 200 or 300 mm, with a 110 mm connection.
Aquiflor's advice
Install the skimmer on the side where the wind blows the leaves, and empty its basket regularly, especially in autumn. A well-placed skimmer reduces the amount of organic matter that ends up as sludge at the bottom of the pool.
