A poorly tightened connection is enough to cause water leaks or allow the pump to suck in air. Hose clamps secure flexible hoses onto the fittings of the pump, filter, UV-C clarifier, or bulkhead connectors.
- Aquaforte stainless steel clamps, including the Multiband version and the wing nut version, which can be tightened by hand.
- OASE clamps 35-50 mm and 40-60 mm for flexible hoses.
- Galvanized clamps in packs of 2, from Ø9 to Ø50 mm, for smooth, lightweight hoses, and clamps for drainage hoses.
Choose the clamp based on the outside diameter of the hose, ensuring it falls within the specified clamping range (e.g., 32-36 mm for a 1¼" hose). Stainless steel is recommended for connections that are submerged or permanently exposed to moisture. For a thick hose, place two clamps offset from each other.
