The rotor is the moving part that drives the water in a pond pump. This section brings together replacement rotors classified by pump model, to put back into service a weakening pump without replacing it.
How to find the right rotor?
- Note the brand, the exact name and the flow rate of your pump on its nameplate.
- Oase: AquaMax Eco, Aquarius and FP from 1500 to 3500; Pontec: ASE, PondoMax.
- Superfish: Pond Eco Next, PondEco Plus; Ubbink: Elimax, Xtra; Messner: MPF 3000 to 6000.
- Symptoms of wear: a pump that hums without delivering water, a drop in flow or a rubbing noise.
Aquiflor's advice
When replacing, clean the rotor chamber and check the shaft and its bearings; cleaning with white vinegar dissolves light limescale. If the pump does not restart, entrust it to our official Oase and Secoh repair workshop in Nodebais, or ask for advice at 010 86 03 54.
