This page brings together replacement filter foams for pond filters, mainly Oase originals. They are intended for owners whose foams, compacted over time, no longer properly retain suspended particles.
How to choose your foams?
- Exact filter model: BioTec 5, 10, 30 and 18/36, BioSmart 18000, 24000 and 36000, BioTec Premium 80000.
- Position and color of the foam, which correspond to a coarse, medium or fine porosity.
- For the Pontec Pondclear 4000, choose the dedicated foam set.
- For a homemade filter, the Aquitechnics blue foam with large mesh of 50 x 50 x 2 cm can be cut to the desired size.
Aquiflor's advice
Rinse the foams in a bucket of pond water rather than tap water: you thus preserve the bacteria that break down fish waste. Do not replace all the foams at the same time, so that the biological filtration restarts faster. Hesitating about the reference?
