For multi-stage systems, a large space must be reserved to install the filter, whereas the dimensions of EconoBead filters differ little from one model to another, as it is primarily the amount of filter media (the number of beads) that matters.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe largest model does not require more than one square meter. We therefore recommend checking the model chart first for the (future) fish population in your pond, and secondly for the volume of your pond. Make sure that the pump can still achieve a flow rate of half the pond volume per hour at a resistance of 0.2 to 0.3 bar (2 to 3 meters).
